The goddamn closing theme to WKRP in Cincinnati
If you're like me, you've been up nights trying to figure out what the fuck the end theme to WKRP's lyrics actually mean since the late '70s. Well, we can both finally get some sleep - they don't make any sense because they're not supposed to. Lyrics after the jump, in case you don't have them burned into your brain by decades of obsessive contemplation.
Said to the bartender "Best night I ever had"
Singin' to the bar
Had a microphone (in)to her heart

I said -
Goodbye madam
I'd had a bird in hand

I said -
I'm doing good
And put love in her heart
