FDA called to the carpet over new deeming regulations by senate committee
The chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee sent a strongly worded letter to the FDA demanding a full account of how they came to decide on the heavy-handed regulations recently presented, with specific focus to the economic impact of effectively shuttering a multi-billion dollar industry largely made up of small and cottage businesses, and the likelihood of unintended negative health effects by sending vapers back to tobacco. I will say there are plenty of items that most Conservatives think and I agree with. The concept of less governmental intervention is certainly one of them.
