E-cigarettes save lives
Derek Yach is arguably smoking's biggest, most powerful opponent - it was he who established and implemented the World Health Organization's Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, and he remains to this day a staunch and busy advocate of all things anti-tobacco.

In this week's cover feature for The Spectator, Yach discusses why there is so much mistrust and fear around electronic cigarettes while endorsing their efficacy in helping people quit smoking and improving their health.

Worthless embedded vid clip but an interesting read. Though I've been tobacco-free for 14 years, I'm not one of those nasty anti-smoking boobs. Vaping does make sense to me, especially for those who have tried quitting and cannot.
Can I bitch and moan about the marketing to kids with flavors like bubble gum? No, I am actually kind of jealous of today's kids. I started smoking at age 15; bubble gum would have been very cool to me.
