Play was stopped at an Australian darts competition when rioting fans in fancy dress brawled and threw chairs. Images show a man dressed as Batman's sidekick Robin wrestling with an English knight, while security guards try to calm the situation down.

In a very moving act of charity, the New Orleans Saints coach buys 100 jerseys of Cincinnati DT Devon Still. 100% of the proceeds go to charity to battle pediatric cancer, as Still's four year old suffers from the dreaded disease.

My favorite event in the Winter Olympics is curling. I watch as much of it as I can when available and discuss strategies and techniques with my pals. You could say I'm a fan.

Is the Stupid Bowl boring this year? Watch a seriously good game here. The AFC Divisional Playoffs 1977. Played in a real barn (Memorial Stadium was a horrible place to watch anything). On brown dirt that was painted green. Two great coaches, Ted Marchibroda and John Madden. Two great quarterbacks, Bert Jones and Ken Stabler. This was one of the most amazing football games I had ever seen.

AV Club's Block and Tackle previews the upcoming weekend in football, including a dissertation of the Super Bowl's cultural impact, a fashion critique of SB rings past, complete coverage of the Tecmo Super Bowl, an appearance by Nipsey The Football-Game-Picking Cat, and much much more.
Less than two weeks to a snow bowl at Met Life Stadium in beautiful East Rutherford, NJ. Hey, what if it snows? Perhaps a repeat performance of Frank Olivo becoming a Philadelphia legend when he played Santa Claus at an Eagles game in 1968. As he walked across the field, the fans pelted him with snowballs.

Over time, Sportvision introduced many new technologies. Some, such as the ESPN K Zone and the NASCAR tracking system, were very well received. But none ever rivaled the universal enthusiasm that greeted the yellow line.
