Anyone here in Phoenix who isn't a total fuckwit remembers the Cine Capri, the majestic 70mm single-screen movie theater on 24th and Camelback. It was demolished a couple of years back to make room for a hideous office building (which the valley has NO shortage of) after a long and ultimately futile fight to save the last 70mm screen west of the Mississippi. Well, they're bringing it back, but this time, it'll just be part of a 24-plex. Still, it'll be nice to see LOTR on a 70mm screen!

This site is dedicated to the art of stop-motion animation, specifically the art of animating plastic bricks.

On this site, the stars are not highly paid hollywood actors, but little plastic figures.

Some of these movies will be quick childish animations, some will be well thought out, lovingly crafted works of intelligence and creativity. This page is intended to be a source of information and inspiration to those that wish to create stop motion animation films using the medium of plastic building bricks. It also serves as a fantastic source to see these movies via our film directory.

(Note for Dave: check THIS one out ya addict!)

Before I get started, let me preface by saying that I know 90% of you could give a rat's ass about Godzilla movies, and are only reading this to see just how much of a geek I am...

And yes, Godzilla is fucking Gigantis, the fire monster in the second picture.

And she's pretty keen on dolphins, too, but her computer at work doesn't have sound - so everyone watch this stunning video and then tell her how intensely cool it was.

I worked through the night working on a major programming issue. Then I come home, flip through television channels, stumble come across Urban Cowboy and can’t turn it off – anyone else watch this flick, only to find that right afterwards you have the strange urge to lift weights, chug a Lone Star beer, chew through a coupla Mezcal worms, and beat the shit out of Debra Winger?

No...? Well then, um, me neither.

Stupid Scott Glenn and his stupid muscles. Stupid Charlie Daniels Band.

(I'm exhausted and delirious, by the way. If any of the proceeding happened out loud, please -- just ignore it... I'm going to bed.)

Man, that Coolio sure can sell you a movie. Just read his thoughts on Daredevil, in which he has a part, and you'll be lined up a.s.a.p.

Copies of Spider-Man 2 have been discovered circulating in IRC and on pirate sites. Experts say this is the first time a movie has been pirated before it has even been filmed.

Experts predicted that Spider-Man The Movie would take in approximately $70 million this weekend. Falling $20 million short of Harry Potter's $90 million opening weekend record. Well guess what? They were WRONG! Spider-Man pulled in an AMAZING $41.4 million (approx) on Friday alone - meaning it will end up with somewhere around $115 million dollars for its total opening weekend, officially making Harry Potter his bitch.

My three favorite things in this world are vampires, lesbians, and kickboxers. If there were only a way to combine the three and make a movie. Wait.. there is! Vampire Lesbian Kickboxers!! All that's missing from that title is From Outerspace.
